Typography
Display headings are set in a high-contrast serif at large optical sizes, paired with a neutral grotesque for running text and a monospaced face for folios, captions and figures. Numbers are set with lining, tabular figures so columns of data align.
Colour
A warm paper ground, near-black ink and a single signal colour used sparingly — for emphasis, highlights and data. Every text colour meets WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark modes.
Build
Built with Astro and Tailwind CSS, with no client-side framework. Pages are static HTML, scripts are measured in kilobytes, and motion respects your reduced-motion preference.
